From my heart to yours…

My name is Gönül, and I am a 64-year-old artist who discovered my love for painting during the Covid pandemic. I had never painted before, but I decided to take up acrylic and watercolor painting as a way to pass the time and keep my mind active. To my surprise, I found that I had a natural talent for it and have been creating beautiful pieces ever since.

I was born and raised in Turkey, and in 2018, I moved to Orlando, FL, with my husband. My family is my everything, and I am blessed to have a loving husband and a son who is married to my beautiful bride.

I am passionate about life and enjoy meditating daily to stay centered and focused. One of the biggest loves in my life is my ragdoll cat, Lua. She brings so much joy and comfort to my life, and I couldn't imagine life without her.

I am drawn to bold and bright colors, and you'll often find that reflected in my artwork. I love to experiment with new techniques and mediums to continually grow as an artist. Painting has brought so much joy and fulfillment to my life, and I feel incredibly grateful to have discovered this passion at this stage of my life.
